A short film exploring Sri Lanka’s idyllic landscapes, and the smaller stories encased in them

Paradise Lost

“ In Eden’s embrace, cradled by the sea,

Sloping into lush hills that whisper of abundance;

Moments float by in flashes, as ships in the night.

Yet in these glimpses, of life lived and shared

Maybe, paradise is found. ”

An Exercise in Technique

‘Paradise Lost’ intends to showcase a smooth mix of digital 2D frame-by-frame and vector animation. Created in-house to explore a novel 30-sec pipeline, our team worked to build a seamless blend between the two styles of animation to produce this idyllic glance into the beauty and tranquility of Sri Lanka.

Are you looking to promote a destination or travel industry, and showcase all that the beautiful location has to offer? We believe that making high-quality animations will portray these dream destinations in new, unseen ways. Mixing visual communication styles in projects such as this one allows us to explore unique styles and visuals of familiar locations and sights, giving them an otherworldly attraction. Together, we can help drive tourism and support the local economies and cultures. Content such as these fit seamlessly into, and elevate, marketing for hotels, villas, resorts, excursions, and destinations. Creating evergreen content as a destination marketing tool for countries like Sri Lanka and the Maldives is a collaboration between The Nescius and Utpatti Records.
